SEEK YE FIRST

Not too long ago, I was talking to my wife. I said, "Dear, do you realise our prayer points have changed lately?"

"How do you mean?" She asked. I told her that we no longer pray for a bigger salary or a bigger car or more money. She affirmed.

What's changed? I realised since we became more focused on fulfilling the Purpose of God for our lives, our desires have soon changed.

Our minds are no longer set on "things". We no longer lust after them. Every single day we wake up, it's the desire to make an impact in people's lives that fills our hearts.

It's not like we don't wish for those things but they have become of less priority in our lives.

Nowadays, we're always talking about what to do to add value to people, help them fulfill purpose, and expand the kingdom of God with our gifts and resources.

Why am I sharing this with you?

The principles of God are everlasting. His words are true, even if heaven and earth pass away.

He said in His Word, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you". [Matthew 6:33]

If our preoccupation is the Kingdom, then our needs will be met by Him.

I've come to realise when a man is busy with Kingdom business, he doesn't need to pray about his daily bread.

The Bible also says, "You shall serve the LORD your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you." [Exo 23:25].

When you serve God and His will for your life, He will take care of your bread, water, and health. The key to Kingdom blessings is service!

I want to challenge you to serve this faithful God. He is true to His word. I have seen it in my life and family.

Consistently follow His will, plans, and purpose for your life, and watch how your prayer points too will change.

I believe in you.

I hope this post has helped you.

You Need Clarity of Purpose
August 24, 2025
In 2017, I applied to speak at TEDx. Rejected. In 2018, I applied again. Rejected. In 2019, I applied twice—both times, again, rejected. But I didn’t stop. Why? Because I was stubborn about my purpose. Like the widow in Luke 18 who kept returning to the judge, pleading for justice, I kept showing up. I kept believing that one day, the door would open. Eventually, it did. That TEDx stage didn’t come because I was the most eloquent or the most visible—it came because I refused to give up. I’ve learnt that any success you desire in life will demand persistence. Not talent, not applause, not connections—persistence. When all else fails, try persistence. When clarity is blurry, try persistence. When the applause is absent and the doors are locked—try persistence. Seest thou a man diligent in his work? He shall stand before kings (Proverbs 22:29). If I could share one counsel with every dreamer, it would be this: Be stubborn about your purpose. Be relentless in your pursuit. For in due season, you will reap—if you faint not. I believe in you.
