Find Your Domain
Recently, a young lady sent me a message asking for help.
She has anger issues and needs some help with it.
As much as I would love to help, I declined her request politely stating, "I'm sorry but I am not an anger management coach or specialist. I am instead, a Purpose Coach".
Purpose is my domain; this is why I am referred to as The Purpose Preacher.
As soon as I was done replying to her, I thought to myself - "when you know who you are, you automatically know who you're not".
Why am I sharing this with you?
Please, do all you can to know who you are, and be secure in who you are.
You were not sent to everyone.
You were also not born to solve every problem.
Your purpose is a solution to a specific problem.
Don't be moved by the fact that a lot of people are coming to you for advice. Know the ones to accept and the ones to politely decline.
All things are lawful for you but not all things are beneficial.
I have seen many people who are all in one - a relationship coach, anger management coach, personal branding specialist, business connoisseur, world-renown cook, and deliverance minister.
Only you?!
God did not create you to solve every problem!
You will soon burn out! This is why many people can't be consistent!
Don't let ego make you say YES to everything and everyone. Know your identity, be clear and secure in your identity, and stay in your domain!
It's only in your domain that you have authority. Outside of your domain, you don't have authority.
You are only a King in your domain (where God has put you). You will likely not get transformational results outside your domain!
Find your domain, reign, and rule! This is the source of your value and the origin of maximising your potentials.

Picture an eagle in a cage. No matter how beautiful the cage is, the eagle was not designed to live in a cage. It was designed to soar on the highest heights and mountains with courage and flair. No matter the lure of the cage, it can never surpass the freedom of the eagle soaring in all expanse of the skies in all of its glories and strength. Like the eagle trapped, too many brilliant, gifted, called individuals are trapped in the cage of careers they were not designed for. They can never command their true worth and value, they can only eat the crumbs they are being fed by their captors. The lure of salaries and pennies that will never satisfy keeps them in such cages. They would rather remain in the rat race than take the risks for their freedom and glory. The Bible says, "If the Son (Jesus) sets you free, you will be free indeed." - John 8:36 As a child of God, you can break free! You were not designed to be caged! Any job that does not give you the freedom to express your gifts, talents and calling is a cage. One of the biggest graveyards of purpose I see is this graveyard of unfulfilling careers. People get jobs only for the sake of earning, rather than fulfilling their life's calling and pursuing what matters to them. But here's the truth: The careers you were not designed for will not satisfy you. They will leave you with voids and emptiness. At the end of your career, you would lack true legacy, influence and impact. Your time to break free is now. I believe in you. Dr Samuel Ekundayo
