DON'T WASTE YOUR EXISTENCE

Earlier today I was chatting to a colleague of mine at work.

After telling her I'm about to publish my second book this year, she asked, "WOW! Where did you get the time?"

Before I responded, she said, "I write poetry too and I enjoy writing them".

I was quick to ask, "do you publish them anywhere?" and she said, "No, I don't think they are good enough to be published".

The conversation went on about why she thought they were not good enough, and then I realised, she was being held back by what people think.

Why am I sharing this with you?

See, until you are delivered from the 'what would people think' syndrome, you will never fulfill God's purpose for your life.

That colleague of mine, I told her, "I wish you knew how many destinies are connected to you sharing your poetry with the world". If only she had any idea.

It's selfishness to hold back from sharing your message, your story, your pains, your gifts with the world. In fact, the Bible calls it wickedness.

Enough is enough letting what people would think to hold you back!

If you have to get a coach to break free from that limitation, do so!
If you have to get a mentor to help you break free, ask God for one.

You cannot afford to go to the grave and allow your story to be buried with you unheard.
You cannot afford to die unfulfilled.
You cannot afford to die selfish with your song inside you.

Don't waste your existence!
There are people waiting to find hope from your story, from your message, don't deny them.

Generations are calling! The world needs you!

Allow me to scream these words into your ears:
Your story is good enough.
Your poetry is good to go!
Your song can make the studio!
Your book can still be written.
Don't let what people would say or think hold you back.

Be delivered today in Jesus' name. Somebody who has just been delivered, say AMEN?!

I believe in you.

You Need Clarity of Purpose
August 24, 2025
In 2017, I applied to speak at TEDx. Rejected. In 2018, I applied again. Rejected. In 2019, I applied twice—both times, again, rejected. But I didn’t stop. Why? Because I was stubborn about my purpose. Like the widow in Luke 18 who kept returning to the judge, pleading for justice, I kept showing up. I kept believing that one day, the door would open. Eventually, it did. That TEDx stage didn’t come because I was the most eloquent or the most visible—it came because I refused to give up. I’ve learnt that any success you desire in life will demand persistence. Not talent, not applause, not connections—persistence. When all else fails, try persistence. When clarity is blurry, try persistence. When the applause is absent and the doors are locked—try persistence. Seest thou a man diligent in his work? He shall stand before kings (Proverbs 22:29). If I could share one counsel with every dreamer, it would be this: Be stubborn about your purpose. Be relentless in your pursuit. For in due season, you will reap—if you faint not. I believe in you.
